Icons of the Saint

Traditional Icons

The traditional icon shows Saint Okeen in the black monastic habit, holding the Cross and the monastic staff, standing between his monastery on the mountain and the sea in which he dove. At his feet are the coral and stones of the Red Sea, and on the sea is a sailing ship, recalling the ships he rescued.
