About This Edition of the Site
Okeen.net was founded in 2008. In 2026 the site was completely renewed, its content gathered from the current site and from the archive of the old site (2008–2018), and a complete English edition was published at SaintOkeen.com, alongside the Arabic site at Okeen.net. On the pages of his Life we distinguish what is documented in historical sources from what is Church tradition. The English translations follow the terminology of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
